Dave Savage My creativity blossomed twenty years ago when I transformed my future home property into "Dave's World" sculpture garden. It was there that I had free reign to build my sculptures and cultivate my garden with vibrant flowers and vegetables. I have been building throughout my life, from building block stacks in my childhood home to sandcastles on the beach in California. For the last two decades I have been creating landscape sculptures from found stones, timbers and steel. Some of it is precariously balanced. Beverly Molander A commissioned artist, I create intuitive abstract paintings and abstracted realistic paintings in large-scale. As a single mom raising a young son, I found that painting helped fill the hours of aloneness I experienced after he went to bed. The enjoyment was immense and the colors leapt from the canvas! These days I use every excuse to paint...wall pieces, landscapes, still life, on canvas, wood, or home furnishings. As with my life, my art is created from energy and saturated by color! Together, Dave Savage and I have joined our knowledge, skills and resources to create large, abstract, color-intense wall sculptures and furniture. |
